Some collections become more than just jewelry. Over time, they become part of a brand’s identity pieces that people return to, reinterpret, stack, gift, and make their own. For Hiba Jaber, the Infinity Collection is one of those collections.
What began as an idea developed during Hiba’s time studying design in Florence has continued to evolve over the years, taking on new forms, gemstones, proportions, and personal stories. From everyday stacking rings to wedding bands and engraved pieces, Infinity has become a collection that can mean something completely different to each person who wears it.
We sat down with Hiba to talk about the story behind the collection, why it remains her favorite, and what makes Infinity so special.
Each Collection Has Its Own Story
You’ve created so many unique collections over the past nine years, each with its own story and identity. Which collection is your personal favorite, and what makes it so special to you?
Each collection and design holds a special memory or story. The Infinity series of collections started when I was in Florence, where I built the concept and it continued evolving throughout the years.
The Zigzag Collection came about through a collaborative design approach with a special customer. The Like a Diamond Collection was inspired by a tough time a friend was going through after the birth of her first child. The Odd One Out came from experimenting with gemstones.
And, of course, the customized series of two letters or more started from a simple concept a gift I designed for a friend who was getting married. That was actually the beginning of the brand.
So each collection holds a special meaning and belongs to a different time in my life.
But if I really have to choose one, it would be the Infinity. This collection has become such a strong signature for Hiba Jaber, and it is incredibly versatile.
The Inspiration Behind Infinity
Where did the idea for the Infinity Collection begin?
I designed the collection during my time in Florence, specifically in design class. The inspiration was love.
I wanted to reflect love through design without making it too obvious or in your face. The infinity shape is revealed when you look at the ring from the side, but when you wear it, what you see is a simple, wavy shape.
I loved the idea of creating something that could represent love without having to spell it out.
From Thin Rings to an Entire Collection
Is there a specific piece from the collection that you personally wear or feel especially connected to?
The collection grew from just thin rings into a wide variety of thin, stackable rings in different sizes, including regular, midi, and pinky rings, as well as two-way bold rings, earrings, and bangles.
I enjoy redesigning this collection every season or every year with new elements, materials, and colors.
And I’m currently preparing for a new Infinity collection, which means a lot to me. I’m very excited to share it soon. Stay tuned, this one is very different and very personal.
A Collection for Every Kind of Love
What do you hope someone feels when they wear the Infinity Collection?
It's a reminder of love in all its forms.
You can gift the ring, earrings, or bracelet to yourself. You can gift it to a friend, or it can even become an engagement or wedding ring.
We have created so many variations of the Infinity ring, as a plain ring, with birthstones, with a solitaire, as an eternity wedding band, and very often, people ask to engrave theirs with special words, dates, or symbols, which makes it even more special.
It's a collection that evolves. It relates to so many different love stories and different moments in life.
It's versatile, easy to stack, and relevant to every time and place.
More Than a Signature Hiba Jaber Collection
Perhaps what makes Infinity so special is that there isn't just one way to wear it or one story it belongs to.
It can be a birthday gift, a wedding ring, an engagement ring, an anniversary piece, a birthstone reminder, a pinky ring, a midi stack, or simply something you choose for yourself.
After years of evolving the collection, Hiba is preparing to introduce a new Infinity collection, one that takes the signature design somewhere completely new and personal.
