When someone is choosing an anniversary gift, what makes a piece of jewelry truly meaningful rather than just beautiful?
When it’s a gift from him to her, it’s usually very personal. We often see clients choose their initials and turn them into a unique jewelry creation.
One of the most special jewels they gravitate towards is a pair of thin or thick duo rings, designed with their initials and a solitaire diamond in between. It’s symbolic, but also luxurious it brings together meaning and elegance in one piece.
What makes it truly meaningful is how it becomes part of their everyday life. We often hear things like, “I never took it off from the day I wore it.” That, for me, is everything. It’s always an honor to be part of their special stories and moments.
When selecting a meaningful gift, do people connect more with the emotion behind it or the design itself?
I believe it’s both.
When a jewel holds meaning, like letters or symbols that matter to you, it naturally creates an emotional connection. But what makes it even more special is being part of the design process itself.
When someone is involved in creating their piece, it becomes an experience. And as humans, we connect deeply with experiences. It feels very different from simply picking something off a shelf.
It becomes unique, personal, and layered with meaning, something you helped bring to life.
If someone feels completely lost and doesn’t know what to gift a mother-to-be, what would you guide them towards?
For a mother-to-be, or any mother, jewelry that carries her children’s initials is always very special.
A necklace is usually the most loved option. It can be designed with the children’s initials, or even include the names of the whole family.
There’s something incredibly meaningful about wearing a piece that holds the names of your children, it becomes part of you.
What is one piece of advice you always give your clients when choosing a meaningful gift?
I always make sure they truly love and connect with the piece.
When someone asks me which gold color is nicer, I ask them what they usually wear. When they ask if it’s better with diamonds or without, I try to understand their personal style first.
At the end of the day, the jewelry is meant to reflect their story, not mine.
I guide them, of course, but always based on who they are. Because it’s something they will wear every day, and it has to feel like them.
